Hello, I'm Giulia
I work as a project manager, am a parent, and live abroad as an expat in Rome, Italy.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Italy wasn't part of our long-term plan. Like many expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something grander.
The initial months were challenging — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Day-to-day chores seemed more tangled than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and a lot of learning on the job. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found spots that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Maver Enquil Sto
Most online guidance sounded either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in Italy.
What This Site Is For (And Not For)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from living in Italy
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever there is a real change
This site is NOT:
- Not a tourism board resource
- A sponsored-review platform
- Just a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Italy continues, and the learning process goes on. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep noting what we learn.
If you have questions about family life in Rome or anywhere in Italy, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Giulia
